Michele Skelding is the Senior Vice President of Global Technology for the Austin Chamber of Commerce in Austin, Texas. In her current role, she is responsible for developing and executing the overall vision for greater Austin to achieve recognition as a top global region for technology innovation, company formation and expansion in addition to top access to private equity and venture capital. Through her leadership initiatives, Michele is to cultivate emerging and strategic technology growth that identifies next generation technology and innovation trends, as well as the vital creation and interconnection of Austin's best in class innovation ecosystem for company inception and accelerated growth. To accomplish this vision, Michele will act as the primary orchestrator of Chamber staff, members, media, technology companies and partner councils to perpetuate and improve global technology leadership present and active in the greater Austin area through promotion and evangelizing recognition nationally and globally to increase Austin's global competitive position for technology innovation.
